I need clarification. any thoughts?

Greetings and salutations,

I stumbled upon this site in December 2017, and since, I have spent a great deal of time on this site. When first introduced, I was told that this website was the path to cosmic illumination. So, I dived in head first. Not only trying enlighten myself but also trying to understand the nuances.

Certainly, I have inexplicably come to the conclusion, there has to be a creator, but I am living this life from my point of view, and this reality is mine, and I truly am the architect of my own desires. My own free will to chose my path.

All the research and meditation seems to indicate to me that I am the maker of this reality I am in, and it is up to me to steer it in the direction that I want it to go.

If I choose to make it about me, and what I want in life, then I have failed.

When you give up your desire to fulfill yourself with worldly goods, the true enlightenment is realizing that in giving of yourself to others in need is paramount.
I have witnessed this on numerous occasions. Just by imagining the narrative I expect, I see the changes around me. When I doubt my beliefs, I watch it crash and burn.


My question is, Is this the message I'm suppose to get??
I expected to see more proof that we all were part of a collective consciousness, and more proof of god, the cosmos, with the infinite universe being closer that we imagine. Am I traveling down the wrong path?

I used to be agnostic bc my thinking was “if all these religious ppl have the answers why do they suffer?” I realize now every religion in the world is subject to misinterpretation mostly due to people’s inability to pick up a fucking book and think for themselves, but I digress. I’ve analyzed the Bible from an objective point of view, I had some faith in me as the Bible says we are all born with these truths we just forget, but I wanted evidence I wanted real proof. So I got it, my situations are subject to confirmation bias however, I think gods favorite game is “idk is it coincidence? Is it me? Idkk, is it? 0-0”.

However if you spend all your time examining the infrastructure of this reality, you’ll waste all your time. God wants us to be concerned wirh our crafts, our niche ways of contributing to the world. God loves prayer but I have a feeling he favors those preoccupied with trying to live for the greater good rather than someone praying for Sky daddy to take the reigns. Act in the name of helping your neighbor and he will allow it, speak the good truth of good advice and they will listen. Acting not in accordance to natural law is playing a game rigged against you, as most politicians and famous musicians can testify. Mankind can attempt to impose its will, but each time just fails, for the air we breathe and the ground we walk upon and the blood in our veins are not our own. They are of gods, he made you and 20 ancestors before you and he’s trying to make you the best possible you that you can be for the greater good of humanity and yourself.
