Hello everyone, im sorry for this being so out of place.
I dont really talk to anyone and yall are part of the few.
So im giving my goodbye.
I dont really feel like i belong anywhere anymore in this life so i think im going to take myself to see the ferry man, and hopefully i have enough money to make the trip.
My only wish is that all of you have wonderful lives, and try and throw a good word in for me. I think my heart wont be up to par.
Either way ill be seeing for myself what sits under the endless ocean and even what may be hidden behind the stars.
Goodbye from a terrible friend
O. P. A. L.
Goodbye
Goodbye
No matter where the stars may take us
We will always find a home
We will always find a home

Re: Goodbye
A choice made in despair
All consequence though through?
To nevermore breathe fresh spring air,
To see the world renew
The sun smiles for us all alike
The birds, they sing for you
The flowers and the stars delight
When you take in their beauty's view
One is his own worst tyrant judge
Forgive yourself for all
Have faith in your own path ahead
Rise every time, know we all fall
You may not know who you have helped
With kind or thoughtful words
To light the poems which you share
May guide some heart towards
This life we get to love and give
Know that YOU are part of the ALL
So go create, go love, go live,
Oh wonderful O.P.A.L.
Take it one day at a time, friend

What is realised in my history is not the past definite of what was, since it is no more,
or even the present perfect of what has been in what I am,
but the future anterior of what I shall have been for what I am in the process of becoming...

Re: Goodbye Stay a while if not longer
Dear O.P.A.L ,
It is distressing to hear you talk with such finality, when you obviously have many more mellifluous words to give to the world that you grew up in. Certainly there is room for melancholia and brighter cheering words that might also conjure up a little laughter and merriment for more sombre souls around you. It is so much more rewarding to follow an uplifting path toward the comfort of others less fortunate, than the route you contemplate. And such a waste of youth, I am old and if I could reverse time I would, nonetheless there are dark days and good in everybody’s life and it is your creativity that makes the dark days brighter.
You were originally described as a cooperative collective when you first joined our community, so does this cry for help affect one or all members of the cooperative? Your poetry is concisely beautiful , superb structurally and evocative; cogs and rust prevail in unison, the iron oxide from iron ore still turns streams and becks to blood red, yet no blood is spilt. Rust is ageing for longevity and so shall your life, therefore I put it to you that your return from the brink of fragility of the soul, will bring far greater blessings to the world about you, than your prescribed solemn departure. Many more lives have need of you than you might know.
Warmest Regards Redbeck
