CONCEPT OF HELL (again)

Post by BeN1 »

I mean in the meantime I made a lot more thoughts about hell and all that and still I don't know,
what a hell really would bring I mean,
all that stuff with 666 and Lucifer his thing,
what about that sneaky snake in garden eden,
who had passed that damn apple :?:
if that place really was and is the paradise then why bring this evil in and who brought this evil in and for which purpose :?:

Image

but to make this clear burning eternally still is kind of nonsense to me.

thx for responding LocoGringo,

very informative. 8)
that youtube channel also looks interesting I will take a deeper look into it definitely.

here the translations I found for the verses:

Part of the Power that would
Always wish Evil, and always works the Good.

---

I am the spirit, ever, that denies!
And rightly so: since everything created,
In turn deserves to be annihilated:
Better if nothing came to be.
So all that you call Sin, you see,
Destruction, in short, what you’ve meant
By Evil is my true element.

yes, but I am kind of thankful to understand it in german to be honest, that book is a very special one and all the time he invested to write it.
sheer impressive.

I think Lucifer can be seen as a symbol representing rebellion, pride and the potential for evil that exists when our free will is exercised without wisdom or restraint. But in true dualistic style, Lucifer can also represent individuality and the quest for knowledge, which while leading to the fall, also happens to open the possibility for growth, transformation, and redemption.

Eve gives the apple to Adam, but it's the serpent who tempts her to eat it in the first place leading to the fall of man [introduction of sin/death into the world]. Personally, I think it shows the human propensity for curiosity, disobedience and the desire for knowledge and experience, even when it comes with risks.

In the biblical narrative, the snake can be seen as a symbol of temptation, deceit and the cunning aspects of our own nature that can lead us astray. However, in many ancient cultures serpents were also revered as symbols of wisdom and the cyclical nature of existence.

The serpent's act isn't so much an act of evil but I believe a necessary step in the evolution of human consciousness. I view the whole Garden of Eden story as a metaphor for the primordial state of unity and innocence, while the serpent and the forbidden fruit symbolise an awakening of consciousness and knowledge of duality. Falling from Eden represents the journey of the soul into the world of physical matter, where it then experiences the challenges and trials of earthly existence with the ultimate aim of achieving spiritual growth and evolution.

I think evil, or the potential for evil, simply exists as a necessary counterbalance to good by providing us with the ability to choose between right and wrong. By experiencing duality (2, good | evil, light | darkness, life | death, 2), we can exercise our own free will, learn from mistakes and strive for higher wisdom and understanding. Simply put, it serves as a catalyst for the evolution of consciousness.

I am very thankful towards you, adding all these useful topics and informations in this thread.

I don't speak for all people here, but to me I can say you already provided a lot of informative and helpful data.

wäre die Leseliste nur nicht so lang von hier bis zum Mond ;D

just kidding, but I agree
too much info equal problem to find all time and then to find the time to understand what you found and read up when finding the time to finally read.

so
I agree with that,
thats why I just read and until I know its informative and what I read does somehow help me to understand, all content is appreciated.

danke echt, cooler sch*iss. 8)

LocoGringo wrote: 14 Sep 2023 08:01 Well, that horned devil and the lake of fire stuff was more or less an invention from Dante ('s Inferno).

If I remember the bible well, "Hell" is the abscence of God - you being cut off from the divine & love (the magic force!).

Same like modern man depicts angels, the winged humanoids.

Someone did make visual interpretations of biblically accurate angels, have a look: https://www.youtube.com/@CelestialBeingsOfficial

The story of Adam & Eve is another allegory, key is the interpretation of them. Difficult nowadays, because who speaks the original language these stories where written? What was changed over time or lost in translation?

Remember, you live in duality - if there is no evil, there is no good and vice versa.

Hence, the creator must be good and evil at the same time as we perceive it, because we cannot grasp the state of singularity...yet. Same with the concept of "nothing" or "infinity" - humans are not able to imagine that.

[Ich bin] ein Teil von jener Kraft,
Die stets das Böse will und stets das Gute schafft. ...
Ich bin der Geist, der stets verneint!
Und das mit Recht; denn alles, was entsteht,
Ist wert, daß es zugrunde geht;
Drum besser wär's, daß nichts entstünde.
So ist denn alles, was ihr Sünde,
Zerstörung, kurz das Böse nennt,
Mein eigentliches Element.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Couldn't find a proper translation quick, it's from "Faust", maybe you can for the rest of the community...

Translates to:
part of that power,
Who always wants evil and always creates good. ...
I am the spirit that always denies!
And rightly so; because everything that arises
Is worth perishing;
So it would be better if nothing happened.
So everything that you sin is,
Destruction, in short, evil,
My actual element.
Like the cicada I will come for a short time and will disappear again....

just so much:

if God is all-mighty, all-seeing and all-knowing,
also the creator of all things,
didn't he then have to know, who will end up burning forever and who not :?:

and I can't believe a God creates souls he already knows end up in an endless torment.

that's what makes me suspicious,
how can a God loves his creation and very well know some'll end up like that :?:

and hell would also be his creation, cause I think God is above all of creation, if not, then what is this here?
that would make him guilty too to a point knowing he'll send a few there already.

Thessalonians 2 7-12
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Also this verse explains it well “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14.
If you calculate the percentage of people going to heaven in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ, only 0.01 percent will see Lord Yahweh and the rest of 99.9 percent will go the kingdom of sheol or hell.
Yet again we are back to 9 or 999.

Weren't you the one who said he had solved the riddle?
Obviously not, as your last posts clearly show.

I actually did, I gave a calculation. I actually don't care what you think, ignorance are the joke themselves.
In accordance to you, I take it you already know what the puzzle was trying to say?
I always accept a challenge, even from the lesser mind.

While you've a lucifer to light your fag, Smile, boys, that's the style. What's the use of worrying? It never was worthwhile, so Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag, …

19 May 2023 — The Devil's name as Lucifer was first seen in the King James Bible, in 1611. In more modern versions of the Bible he is referred to as Satan.
Names for the Devil are numerous: Besides Lucifer, he may be referred to as the Prince of Darkness, Beelzebub, Mephistopheles, Baphomet, Lord of the Flies, the Antichrist, Father of Lies, Moloch or simply Satan. The book of Ezekiel includes another Biblical passage Christians refer to as proof of the Devil's existence.13 Sept 2017
Lucifer was the 2083rd most popular boys name. In 2021 there were only 69 baby boys named Lucifer. 1 out of every 26,966 baby boys born in 2021 are named Lucifer.
