The upper, middle, and lower worlds contain our reality in its segments. Shamans are accustomed to travel between such worlds. There are many adaptations of this, but as I see it we are in the middle world, the lower world is palm down, and the upper world is palm up. I will not dive deep into these worlds because I am merely using them as an example. Whether they are actual and contain the spirits of the world an idea they are just as helpful. Travel between the worlds provides insight and new perspectives. I like to meditate in deep trances and these worlds serve as a tool to me. These tools help us tackle what otherwise we cannot. My favorite wizard wand is music and I have some of my greatest insights under it’s spell. I find myself needing these wands less and less, their purpose is to guide and be a tool, but I am finding I am now learning to guide myself. I have hyperphantasia and when I focus I can picture extremely vivid imagery in my head. I once needed static and a dark room to see with my minds eye, now I can see what I please anytime— with or without my wand. I have learned to control my senses and not only is it interesting but serves my spiritual journey. These are but a few examples. As I see it— the Evokation itself is a sort of wand and pair of eyeglasses. It is a tool that opens your mind to what is to come.
