Hello

This website had been on my peripheral for some time now, but with recent world events, one is sent elsewhere to find comfort. Not knowing where I was going I stumbled upon the forum, and a letter written by Packajos000, addressed to someone named Rachel.

My name is Rachel, but this letter was not for me, how could it be?
How, could, it, be?
It seems every now and then, I, Me, Us or, You will notice a glimmer on this website. (and everywhere for that matter...)

I emailed Packajos000 and thus began a conversation of understanding, and feeling, and I was drawn in. Packajos000 sent me a book (or part of a book but I got there in the end ) This book is Anthropos by William P. Breed. Please have a peck. If you need help sourcing it I’m sure someone can help, otherwise reach out.

A book about humanity, our humanity, my humanity, your humanity and their humanity.

Here is a quote from the book.
“Do they not know that they are human beings; that as such, they are susceptible to every form of anguish that ever comes to man? Within the bosom of every unpardoned soul there slumbers a magazine of anguish which any day a word of God may explode.” p.77-78

And so, if I may repeat myself, how could it be that such a letter, could be addressed to me?…

Maybe I do understand how the book found me.
And maybe that letter was indeed addressed to Rachel
Placing I and us and you in the shoes of all.

I have no reason to burst from my front door with this book clutched in my hand and an object of importance in the other and-- at the top of my lungs have the word “Eureka!” be flung from my lips. I feel no reason to share this book with anyone or everyone that would cross my path.

But it is a nice book, and maybe we can discuss it.

I imagine quite a few of us have read it, in fact, maybe you have read it-- what did you think? Where does this book reside for you? Do you have a quote that you like, or maybe you could find one to share?
