I will be using this forum as a sort of blog. I have a habit of making disconnected posts that don't fully garner an entire forum topic. So from now on I will make such posts here.

I just got done being extremely sick with the flu. I have a great immune system and I don't get sick often. I have only been this sick twice. I had a horrible sore throat and I was constantly groggy with a fever of 102 F. Now that I am better I am returning to the world. While I was sick I was in a strange semi-aware state. I have always had an interest in hallucinogenics such as psilocybin. Recently-- however-- I have been more intrigued in the idea of acting on these thoughts, in the far future that is. In my sickness I had strange sensations that made ungrounding my being a lot easier. That is the best way that I have of putting it-- "Ungrounding my being" is my way of describing when I pull away from my body in deep meditation. The sort of thing that I do when traveling "shamanic worlds" or whatever I may call it.

Great day-- tea leaves look good. I spent much time drawing cats-- hope I don't end up like Lois Wain... I wonder what he saw in cats, If my mind were in such a state I might also draw such a warm comfort.

I have been thinking about Pythagoreanism as of recently and how it could relate to this site. However, I do not feel particularly swayed by the 'was mathematics discovered or created' arguments. Either way it lets us see into the universe. While I am mostly impartial--- if I had to pick a side I; I believe mathematics was discovered, but we created our own interpretation of it. Base 10 isn't and could never be universal, that is merely our own creation. The laws of physics, are sort of--- God. The laws of physics--- in a 2D sort of sense--- are math.
Perhaps math is our perception of God.
Or perhaps Math is perceived as god.

I have not been as active as I once was. I went to Mexico. Then upon arriving home I dove into research. I am fascinated by archetypes.

Has there ever been a truly original story? Or are all stories different iterations of greater archetypes? Where do these stories originate? These stories seem to have been born along with our humanity. What constitutes original? Are all thoughts iterations of past thought? Perhaps all thoughts exist in the past, present, and the now.

Signs and symbols. On a certain level I see into the form, in clarity that is.
A metaphor is but a metaphor. The microcosm to the macrocosm, the internal to the external.
Meta, meta, meta, all the way down the rabbit hole, or up? Neither, there is no such thing.
