How did we get to exist

I mean sure thru endless years of evolution but when did it start how did it start (how did the first being in this universe got to exist)
The earliest known life forms are microorganisms found in hydrothermal vent precipitates. The oceans formed some 4.4BYA, so we know the must have formed some time earlier than 4.4BYA.
In a short, layman's sentence, life came from carbon enriched sources such. All known life comes from carbon, so the study of this atom is key to understanding ourselves.
A common theory is that monocellular life reached Earth much like how water did: via a comet, asteroid, or other object.
