Seong Yong Gil (or the “Eternal Son” as he has come to be known in the DPRK) is a music major and young soldier in a long line of high-ranking officials, as well as the nephew of General Ri Yong Gil, who was first in chief of the Korean people’s Army General Staff under Kim Jong Un until the time of his execution.
