Welcome RMcAra and tHank you for your original moving contribution, the excerpt below seems a fitting addition to the theme of this literary trail:

Outside, an icy fog made a halo around the few lanterns that were on the water. I was glad that Morison was with us in the warm kitchen and not in some attic with bare tiles over his head. On clear nights it was so cold that if you reached the stars and tapped them with a hammer the sky would have rung like an iron bell.

I breathe deep the Sweet Smells of the fallen leaves of Autumn. Hand in Hand with my gentle love, we walk upon a carpet of sunset colored leaves, wrapped in royal velvet robes made from the shadows of the silver moon.

How blessed am I, to have been Birthed at this time, At the start of of such a beautiful season.
