Yes indeed the fascinating natural wondrous building block that is Mycelium [plural Mycelia] which may be of microscopic proportions or equally have developed into advanced visible structures, such as: brackets, mushrooms, puffballs, rhizomorphs [fundamentally long strands of hyphae cemented together], sclerotia [hard, compact masses], stinkhorns, toadstools, and truffles.
