Ninth of November
Well at least I remember
It’s the ninth of November
But what I almost forgot,
Is that the Gunpowder Plot,
Was but a drop in our sinister symbolic ocean.
For what did humans learn?
As they felt their world churn,
Merely to add more powder
So the bangs just got louder,
Now we can watch total destruction in motion.
Yet somehow humans survive
Since sixteen hundred and five,
Still fighting their endless wars
Loath to open peaceful doors ,
So who will buy tickets.... for that one big final explosion?
