Black Hole

[Koguntetsu]

Scientists have recently released the first picture of a black hole. It is located in the center of the supergiant galaxy known as "Messier 87" (or M87)

Pretty amazing to be the first generation of humans to see a picture of this marvelous black hole. The idea and science of the black hole had always amazed me even as a small boy. To think that now, a lifelong passion has been finally captured for the world to see is mind blowing.

Think Einstein would be proud?

And to think, literal nothing could be so exciting

While slightly unrelated to the initial post, this is a fairly interesting 360º video on youtube about what it would look like if you fell into a black hole.
