Greetings and salutations,

I stumbled upon this site in December 2017, and since, I have spent a great deal of time on this site. When first introduced, I was told that this website was the path to cosmic illumination. So, I dived in head first. Not only trying enlighten myself but also trying to understand the nuances.

Certainly, I have inexplicably come to the conclusion, there has to be a creator, but I am living this life from my point of view, and this reality is mine, and I truly am the architect of my own desires. My own free will to chose my path.

All the research and meditation seems to indicate to me that I am the maker of this reality I am in, and it is up to me to steer it in the direction that I want it to go.

If I choose to make it about me, and what I want in life, then I have failed.

When you give up your desire to fulfill yourself with worldly goods, the true enlightenment is realizing that in giving of yourself to others in need is paramount.
I have witnessed this on numerous occasions. Just by imagining the narrative I expect, I see the changes around me. When I doubt my beliefs, I watch it crash and burn.


My question is, Is this the message I'm suppose to get??
I expected to see more proof that we all were part of a collective consciousness, and more proof of god, the cosmos, with the infinite universe being closer that we imagine. Am I traveling down the wrong path?

Destroying Dogmatic Paradigms

We live in one era where culture is frowned upon and where a generation of children demands things that they don't even know. We live in one era where information abounds everywhere but it is when we live most uninformed. We love being fooled, we love hoaxes and conspiracy theories that are more interesting than genuine scientific findings.

We live in one era where kicking a ball or showing my ass is more appreciated than the many noble ideas of many and where the goal of many is to be a living evil rogue who takes advantage of unsuspecting victims. We love being sleepy with technology, it intoxicates us like wine and without realizing it consumes our souls in a voracious way.

Today self-idolatry in social networks is more important than shaking hands, today a reality show is more important than a book that tells a harsh reality. It is more important to exalt and worship lies and appearances. Now they say: tell me how you dress and I will tell you who you are as they point a finger at the Muslim as a terrorist for wearing a caftan and look down on women wearing hijab.

Xenophobia spreads as metastasis, without any brake, even worse in towns as close as Latin America. Now I see life as a mountain that I try to climb but there is an avalanche. An avalanche of stupidity, ignorance and falsehood, but it is what most like, prefer a lie than a harsh reality. Now due to the isolation of humanity, the mask of peace and philanthropy has dropped, now is when the sad reality floods social networks but people still do not pay attention, they are afraid to face the truth.

I like your ideas Zah. You’ve proven one of my one fallacies and I love that, I was born in this generation of a sea of mindless masses but never took to their water. I always figured there must be something else or at the very least humanity is going the wrong wrong path. However I think your take is entirely too nihilistic, mankind wakes up a little more day by day and those who struggle to see? The Concept of the Soul

It seems to me that when we speak of the soul we express ourselves in very similar terms. In fact, when you mention the soul in an embryonic state, you use the same metaphor used by Gurdjieff.
