Howdy folks. It's been a while. Sorry for the delay, I've been busy with work, and starting to work on a novel. Anyways, let's chat.

I've noticed a trend lately among the evil, decadent, and those near the evil and decadent. It's their face. Evil seems to genuine change peoples faces. Morphs their expression, makes them twisted and disturbed.

It's somewhat silly, I picked this up listening to a Lorne Greene song when it hit me, but you can really see it on people's faces.

The evil eye, seen in almost every culture in the world, the Devil's Grin in cowboy mythos where the smile of Satan is seen on gunslingers faces, the apparent hyper aging of exorcists (Ripperger looked 60 for the past 20 years!), and not to mention the pseudoscience of physiognomy.

It's no surprise to me that physiognomy exists. Across cultures it seems that certain appearances align with evil. And specific sins even seem to change your appearance in different ways...

Lust


Lust is probably one of the most talked about facial changes. That is, beady eyes and a smug smirk. My mother told me a lot that pedophiles all seemed to have beady eyes, and I've seen the same and adulterers. Mosley here was an adulterer and a manipulator, and just look at the man. His earlier images look nothing like he did at the height of his power.

Pride


I don't think this man needs introduction.

The shit-eating grin (pardon my french), the smug aura, head pridefully held high... you can see the same in any member of aristocracy or nobility.

The wrathful have twisted grind and burning eyes, the slothful have faces that droop lazily, the greedy much like the lustful have beady eyes. Maybe it's jjst a trait common among the manipulators.

Is any of this anything real, or just the result of a collective human stereotyping towards emotion?

Yes. Facial expressions are very telling. That's real. A genuine smile differs from a wicked one.

Thanks for you're post Nazheek, I find your question very interesting.

In my opinion, I believe that the reaction that one gives to evil acts or thoughts of evil acts is nothing but an involuntary reaction to the situation they're found in. Like how a human smiles when they see a cute puppy.

Thats the main reason that you see such a commonality amongst pedophiles or others like that. Yes different "sins" take on different facial reactions but I still think it holds true.

Aleister Crowley; born Edward Alexander Crowley; 12 October 1875 – 1 December 1947) was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Eon of Horus in the early 20th century. Crowley gained widespread notoriety during his lifetime, being a recreational drug experimenter, bisexual, and an individualist social critic. A prolific writer, he published a vast amount of material throughout his adult years.

Crowley spent the First World War in America, where became a painter and campaigned for the German war effort against Britain, it was later revealed that he had infiltrated the pro-German movement to assist the British intelligence services. In 1920, he established the Abbey of Thelema, a religious commune in Cefalu, Sicily where he lived with various followers. His libertine lifestyle led to denunciations in the British press, and the Italian government evicted him in 1923. He divided the following two decades between France, Germany, and England, and continued to promote Thelema until his death.

The British press dubbed him “The Wickedest Man in the World,” he also featured in a much watched BBC documentary, that dealt with famously sinister figures, which it entitled, “Masters of Darkness.” Probably because of the establishment’s fear of Crowley's unconventional conduct, alternative thought processes and ideas, and certainly due to the indisputable fact that no one single individual had such widespread influence on the countercultural twists and turns of the 20th century as the Cambridge-educated occultist. Plus of course he may well have had an awful lot of information, worthy of publishing, about the British intelligence services and they needed to discredit him early on, that is my conspiracy theory.

i truly cannot define evil by a face, no one can, except for the afterthought, and thats what is truly disturbing

although this mister served his purpose as a teacher even unintentionally, he paved a way, no matter how sinister
