‘THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME’ OF WHICH H.G.WELLS SO ELOQUENTLY SPOKE IN THE TITLE OF HIS GREAT WORK
The Shape of Things to Come is a work of science fiction by British writer H. G. Wells, published in 1933. It takes the form of a future history which ends in 2106.

A long economic slump causes a major war that leaves Europe devastated and threatened by plague, disaster and famine. In decades of chaos with much of the world reverting to medieval conditions, pilots and technicians formerly serving in various nations' air-forces maintain a network of functioning air fields. Around this nucleus, technological civilization is rebuilt, with the pilots and other skilled technicians eventually seizing worldwide power and sweeping away the remnants of the old nation states. A benevolent dictatorship is set up, paving the way for world peace by abolishing national divisions, enforcing the English language, promoting scientific learning and outlawing religion. The enlightened world-citizens are able to depose the dictators peacefully, and go on to breed a new race of super-talents, able to maintain a permanent utopia.

This is a wonderful objective which we, among many, share. However, the cautionary note we are perilously close to the initial state of the world described his book. Along with the dreadful addition of climate change, warming the globe still further in the shape of melting glaciers, soaring temperatures and appalling wildfires. Among all the other ills, we must unite on behalf of climate now more than ever change. And as such we want to mark the last two days of this deadly heatwave and hellish wildfires, surely this dire predicament will pivot the influence and intellect of human kind into huge effort toward arresting global warming and sustaining longevity of life with food and water on this planet.

Hottest summer in years worldwide. Countless wild fires, many lawns are dying, yet mother nature is blooming.

Wildlife are in higher numbers, bugs, and weather is quite strange, has been for a few years brewing now but it appears to be peaking

It seems everyone's doomsday predictions have come and gone, all that remains is the covenant God made with Noah, we must understand why apocalypse comes and what is the purpose and benefit of and to mankind and the cosmos as a whole

For many since COVID the world has been thriving, some not so much, this is natural selection. Most will be fine and come from this cleansing period triumphant, this isn't cause for rest, but time to seize the day since we know even in the face of world changing events we may be apart of the change and for the best outcome humanity

"A cosmic "message in a bottle" is to be left in space as a relic of the world's languages.

A disc engraved with the first three chapters of Genesis in 1,000 native tongues will travel to a distant comet. It will be carried on the European Space Agency's (Esa) Rosetta mission, set for take-off some time in 2003. The unmanned spacecraft will orbit the ball of ice, matter and dust, and then put a lander on the comet's surface.
