A Team You Can Rely On

Hello again

This shit can be overwhelming & hard to digest sometimes. That's why studying this material alone is dumb. I was being a big ol dummy in assuming I had to learn on my own.

When it comes to studying this material, I keep holding on until my level anxiety becomes overbearing, at which point I feel like I have to run away. It is not the site itself but rather the combination of reading material outside this site and referring to this site's index for collaborative information.

When the synchronicities just start matching up like crazy is usually how I can tell I'm becoming overwhelmed. If I engage/entertain this subject, it can lead to me saying certain things like I did in my previous thread. Things that that ME at the time genuinely feels, but the entirety of ME doesn't necessarily feel all the time

Fortunately, since the time I created my account, I have made some friends. BEN1 & ONE, along with others (like Sidewalk, V3INZ, packajos000, etc) some of them being younger/older than me but most of us having similar thoughts & experiences. And that is definitely one of the most beautiful aspects of this site.

There are thousands of members on this site (albeit only a handful remain active). I think it would be beneficial for me to try to reach out more, asking for different perspectives than mine own, & I encourage those who struggle to reach out for help to do the same.

Idk how my journey will continue to unravel, & I am certain I will have many more moments of doubt or exhaustion, but I also know that all of this is normal, expected, & okay. When I'm feeling overwhelmed again, I'll make sure to reach out. <3

Indeed, one of the best things about this website is the community. Please, do not feel so pressured— personally I dived into this website (what is now a while ago) but now I interact with it much more casually. Like I say again and again… this website is a wand— a tool to guide oneself. The real answers are out there in the world, here you learn the means to find them. As a mystic I search for the divine, and esoteric. I do not expect a finish line…

I appreciate your thoughtful reply V3inz! It is difficult to keep focus aligned through the macrocosmic view when I so easily get wrapped up in microcosmic topics/events/disruptions. I don't like to claim attachments of identification labels beyond my name, being a philosopher, and a "cat" whose curiosity has led to both detriment & eudaimonia.

I also like your statement, "aim to be" because there aren't always definitive targets to hit. And not only that, but sometimes we'll just straight up miss, and that's okay. "A tool to guide oneself" is a great way to describe this site, along with all other textual resources concerning Hermeticism, esoterica, Gnosticism, and so on. Although the answers aren't in the symbols scattered across those pages, but rather "out there in the world."

The answers are out there--always beyond our reach. And you'd think it's absurd for us to keep trying or for one of us to say I GOT IT because -- one cannot grasp all of infinity, just a tip of it.

You could say we're all after ONE PIECE of the puzzle hehe
