Sharing my mantras and vibrations

Post by Actioncompassion »

Hello all

I have been resonating with this website for a few years now and I finally rediscovered it today and felt like it was time to dive in. Then I found this forum...

I have been inspired by the Universe lately to create some vibrations which I think are a bit healing perhaps.

Please check it out and I hope you enjoy.

My dear Actioncompassion. or may I call you Larry? Good evening, or as they say in the Ojibwe branch of the Algonquian language Mino Dibikad, I know that a considerable population of that noble tribe ended up in British Columbia as a result of colonisation. My apologies for such a late acknowledgement and our sincere thanks (Chi-miigwech) for your highly therapeutic soundcloud submission. Certainly the medicine men of the Ojibwe also had mantras, as usual my tangential enquiring nature takes over, have you perhaps investigated Aboriginal Canadian spiritual and associated meditative practices?

Ojibwe are known for their birch bark canoes, birch bark scrolls (an important source perhaps?), mining and trade in copper, and cultivation of wild rice. Their Midewiwin Society is well respected as the keeper of detailed and complex scrolls of events, oral history, songs, maps, memories, stories, geometry, and mathematics.

The medicine man or woman (shamans), used techniques such as medicine bags, purifying sweat lodges and most important of all dreams. Fasting, isolation, and meditation were the main methods to capture a dream. The dream representation could be either be fashioned into an object or outlined as a picture which in turn could be one of either: an exact representation, an article or an outline more or less remotely suggesting a peculiarity of the dream. The representation published the subject of a person's dream but seldom indicated its detailed content. I myself meditate and as stress or spiritual pains are released this often occurs in what I would term a self induced dream state, although that said I appreciate that there is a higher guiding hand in all things.
