How now Packajos000, I trust thou art in fine fettle, sound of wind and limb and in rude health.

Now raising a perhaps strange flag as is my wont, is there perhaps some comparison to be drawn or does't thou adjudge the crevasse twixt the two alphabets too great or have we cypher in our midst? Merely the shot of a flintlock in the dark thou see'est, yet the mind must inquire.

Felicitations Redbeck

Why Red_Rose what striking images are these and Packajos000 receperint salvete, et in tuo reditu. Sunt tibi magna desiderari. Redbeck

Returning to Red_Rose. The Latin to English translation of falcifer, falcifera, falciferum is progressively speaking: carrying a scythe and scythed. I most certainly see the connection in your image Falcifer from Eques Sinemus for one woman wields a scythe in the background as another carries the fruits of her labour in the foreground. I assume there is no connection to what we know as The Grim Reaper as in the personification of death? Although the following dark and garish almost total Louisiana voodoo image with the garish colours to outline the features and symbol on the forehead, entitled New Hanged(wo)man is circular! A rotating Falcifer carries an altogether more sinister weighted message; projecting 'an invisible, mysterious force that can intervene in human affairs'.

Bless my soul Packajos000, I found this tucked away in my intellectual doublet and hose.

Canadian Aboriginal syllabic writing, or simply syllabics, is a family of abugidas (writing systems based on consonant-vowel pairs) used to write a number of indigenous Canadian languages.

Canadian syllabics: currently used to write all of the Cree languages from Naskapi (spoken in Quebec) to the Rocky Mountains, including Eastern Cree, Woods Cree, Swampy Cree and Plains Cree. Also used to write Inuktitut in the eastern Canadian Arctic; there they are A co-official alphabet font with the Latin script in the territory of Nunavut. They are used regionally for the other large Canadian Algonquian language, Ojibwe in Western Canada, as well as for Blackfoot, where they are obsolete.
