Why did not God create a single religion?
Why did not God create a single religion?
Why did God create other religions? If there was only one religion, would not there be any confused fight? In reference to these questions, Allah the Almighty states in verse 19: "The only religion acceptable to Allah is Islam." The meaning of Islam is to submit to Allah, the All-Powerful. According to all other religions, God, the Almighty, sent all His messengers only to preach a religion.
All the prophets coming are Hz. From Adam's Hz. Noah, Hz. To Moses, Hz. to Jesus, Hz. All Prophets to Muhammad! And our beloved prophet tells the world that 124,000 prophets have been sent. In Surat al-Fatir, verse 24, he says, "There is no tribe or tribe who has not come and gone through a reminder." and Surah Al-Re`ât says in verse 7: "You are a guide for every community."
All the prophets did not explain anything to their people that they should surrender to God, the Almighty. The main message of the prophets is "the unity of God, he is not born, his mother does not have a father, he is one and only, nothing is equal to him." However, all the words of our Prophet have been distorted in the past. Most of the sacred books before the Koran have changed.
In a few places in the Qur'an, Allah reveals in the Qur'an: "If We willed, we would be obedient to every one of us." He says we would make everybody Muslim.
Islam is different from other religions. The essence of Islam is; It is religion and lifestyle that orders God to surrender. And Muslim; Zakir is not a personal name like Abdullah, Sultan. If you are obedient to God's commands, you are also Muslims. All the Prophets taught the unity of God. Hz. The reason Muhammad was sent as the last messenger is that all the sacred books before the Koran were changed. The final revelation is the Koran. The Quran is also mentioned as sacred books by name, Psalms, Torah, Gospel, and Koran. The Torah Hz. To Moses, the Psalms Hz. To David, the Bible Hz. Revealed to Jesus. The Qur'an is the final revelation and Hz. He came to Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Surat az-Zukr says in verse 38: "We sent a vision specific to every age." Many revelations have come. But all the revelations that came before the Koran and the Prophet All the prophets who came before Muhammad only included the people of the era. This is one of the reasons why Almighty God did not protect them.
The final revelation The Qur'an was sent not only to the Muslims and the Arabs, but to all humanity. For this reason, all the sacred books have a good news of the future. In Surah Al-Hijr, verse 9, he says, "We are the one who will protect the Koran and protect it." So we can understand from all this that God's messengers were sent to preach a single religion. This is to submit to God. Arabic is literally called Islam. Hz. Jesus was never sent to preach Christendom. The Christian word is not in the Bible. He did not declare Christianity.
Christian Hz. It is a nickname given to Jesus' followers in Antakya. So Hz. Jesus proclaimed Islam. The Gospel of John 5. Baptist 30. In verse Hz. Jesus says, "It is not my wish, it is God's will, but in Arabic, meaning nothing more than Islam." Similarly, if you read Bagvadgida (the Hindu scripture), you must say, "You have to submit to God's will. He says you are coming against Islam.
What we understand from this is that all prophets have nothing else but to surrender to God's will. This is why in the 19th verse of Ali Imran, the only religion in the religion of Allah is Islam.
So, we have to do is return to the original of the sacred books. We must return to God's command. It is the submission of the will to Allah's command. And so you follow the right path

Re: Why did not God create a single religion?
Good evening ibad, thank you for a steady stream of posts.
People since ancient times have seen and believed in gods as multiple beings, although there was a primitive monotheism among ancient Greeks while not denying the existence or possible existence of other deities.
Coming from a Celtic dynasty as such, I have obviously researched and tried to understand the pagan religions which drew their gods from various representations of the natural world and thee elements. I personally think freedom to choose the style of faith you wish to follow is a human right and must be preserved. Henotheism must and can never be imposed on a thinking humankind unless they wish it to be so, remember human beings gain light in their lives from many sources and only one of them is faith, pure love, creativity, logic, natural environment all play a part. As such the site has tried to encompass all faiths and spirituality and not favour one over the other, that is the true essence of knowledge I would say and that attitude will never change.
I think a large percentage of humankind, believe in a higher power of some kind or another, however most would reserve the right to be able to adopt either a monotheistic or polytheistic (multiple deities, which are usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own religions and rituals beliefs) faith. For example, some people abandon beliefs that were introduced to them in childhood, either never to return to the fold and embrace another faith altogether or return to this religion in later years having been through a period of disbelief either atheist or agnostic in between. Quite simply they exercised their right to choose.

Re: Why did not God create a single religion?
Excellent responses Koguntetsu and Nazheek thank you. Massive forum activity at the moment and I am spread thin.
Our interests of course cover a wide spread of religions and we do and should not hold one above the other. Indeed our path dictates for the sake of knowledge, that we should not focus on a single creed, for the truth is not every but many adherents to a specific faith tend to place that faith in the forefront of their psyche by default rather than opening their minds in pursuit of a spectrum of enlightenment.
Also on another technical note, I appear to be able to receive private messages, but at the moment the technology seems to be unwilling to allow me to reply; consistently dropping my responses into 'Outbox' rather than 'Sent', once again I am investigating via the central user support board.
So Nazheek your observations have been noted and I will watch the unfolding scenario carefully.
Kind Regards Redbeck.

Re: Why did not God create a single religion?
I usually don't chime in on religious topics as I feel humankind should be free to choose their own belief system without feeling obligated to decide one faith over another, if any. However I felt it interesting to note some findings on the subject.

M, Yes, indeed, the name Allah seems to be strange to non-Muslims but this name has been used by all the Prophets since Adam until Muhammad{PDUH}. Re: Why did not God create a single religion?
Men create Religion, if one is using this definition:
noun - "A specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects."
Religions were created by men to control men.
The universe split itself into infinite parts to imbue intelligent beings with "soul" in order that individuals could find a path to the infinite and understand their place within the universe. There are as many paths to The Infinite as there are people.
We are the universe trying to understand itself.

Re: Why did not God create a single religion?
In my opinion the truth of all can only be attained through the study of all religions and philosophies. Only through the practice and study of many religions and occult practice can we reach our true potential. But that's just my beliefs so take it with a grain of salt.
Thank you!
Thank you!
