Advertising is a tool of the capitalist system which we view as detrimental to the quality of worldly life, as humankind we are not commodities and should not be living life as mere chattels in one big market. Let us work by all means and work hard for the common good, but the rising cost of material goods and the dependency upon them is not natural or healthy. By all means trade for reasonably priced food and shelter that does not drive people into homelessness, facing food shortages and a generally impoverished existence. Advertising can suck unwitting underprivileged humankind into penury and a shortened lifespan based on an inadequate diet & healthcare and poor housing
