My Beloved and Me Were Standing one Night Under a rain-bejeweled Pine Tree.
We had come to ponder our current life, the universe, and everything as a whole as we passed the grandfather pipe, a well loved Grabow, full of smoldering Grandfather Sage, Butter Rum & Vanilla Tobacco between us.
In the peaceful silence, My beloved turned to me and tapped the chewed stem against pursed lips.
"Oh, My God." My beloved whispered. "I get it."
"What?" I asked between drinks of water.
"its Man's-Romance. When you suppress the violence, you get beauty."
I laughed as the understanding rolled into my mind in deeper and deeper waves.
"So." I said finally. "If you don't express the violence and anger, you get beauty."
"Yes. The emotional waves calm and you get this beautiful stillness, This peace. You can then use that energy to do something else. Anything else."
"Positive begets Positive. Negative begets Negative. Positivity brings more of itself into reality when you share it. So does Negativity. " I paused to caress the warm pipe bowl in my hand. "Now i understand why right speech is so essential."
"yes."
Together we shared a laugh, smiled a knowing smile, and continued to pass the pipe in silence.
Truly, life is beautiful.

Re: Beauty
My dear Tiberius Blackthorne,
Have I not welcomed you, together with that splendidly formed name (Leonine mane of hair I'll wager) and your excellently phrased contributions, before now? To be honest I am a might befuddled on the subject, so if I haven't, it was most remiss of me and if I have, additional praise never goes amiss and I willl just keep taking the tablets!
Anyway, hurriedly gathering grey matter together, it struck me that eagle-eyed anthropologist and occasional playwright, Will Shakespeare had touched upon a number of your highly therapeutic themes above, and never being one to hide the bard's light under bushel, despite the expense to my own literary output, I will flutter the following synergistic quotes through the letter box.
"A peace above all earthly dignities,
A still and quiet conscience." - KING HENRY VIII
"One touch of nature makes the whole world kin." - TROILUS & CRESSIDA
"I must have liberty
Withal, as large a charter as the wind,
To blow on whom I please."- AS YOU LIKE IT
"Silence is the perfectest herald of joy:
I were but little happy, if I could say how much." - MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
and one I hope is for both of us (the revered Tiberius Blackthorne and the site in combination)
"How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world." THE MERCHANT OF VENICE
that and the "beauty" to be found in a good cascade of tinkling words of course.
