Faulknerian Time

Is anyone familiar with the Faulknerian Chronotope? The space-time construct that William Faulkner uses in some of his most famous novels (The Sound and the Fury, Absalom, Absalom!). "Time is the mausoleum of all hope and desire... The is not dead, it is not even past..." For William Faulkner all events are either happening still or in the process of happening. Among American novelists, he is perhaps one of the first to embody Relativity in his construction of narrative worlds.
