Here I am relaunching what is perhaps an old chestnut, but I claim my right of free speech along with the right to wave, rather than bear, my arms, while teetering dangerously on a poorly balanced soapbox.
It struck me while reading Otsolini's post about permaculture life on the edge of the bigger picture and consequently the importance of the margins, how important it is for us all to take or have taken the appropriate actions to back up our opinions. As in if we're going to change the planet and how we cohabit as humankind on that same planet, we have to set foot outside our comfort zone to the margins and help make that change work.
Then, hit by a bolt of mental lightning, thunderstorms tomorrow no doubt, I realised that I had a picture in the gallery taken in a relatively poor neighbourhood, which said exactly that in Spanish as a prod to us all. And Otsolini's posted article by his father is centred on Spain, I am not one for contrived segways yer foller?, just raw serendipity.
Read it and make your own conclusions by all means, if you conclude that I am rapidly becoming deranged. Happily, I am not alone, there are voices all around!
