PENTATEUCH (2023)

Post by Redbeck »

The content included in this series of posts can be found by following the links to 973-eht-namuh-973.com below. This content was developed by DaveD to demonstrate the both remarkable and prolific quantities of the number 5 that emerge following the alpha to numeric transposition of letters occurring within words which have a strong and direct relationship to the number five. In this instance the words Pentateuch and pyramid.
The 5 being the number of balance. ½ [0.5] of biblical measurement the cubit = 9 inches, the point of balance of a 0 to 9 inch ruler or measuring rod occurs at 5 inches. Enjoy your journey.

"A series of clues to the composition of the final pyramidion at the very apex of the Pyramid begins with an observation in A.E. Berriman's Historical Metrology on the antiquity of the British or Imperial inch. There are a number of old Egyptian weights in the British Museum, and others from Greece and Babylon, whose standard of reference has proved to be the cubic inch of gold. Were it not for the common but inappropriate use of metric units in publishing details of antique weights, that feature would be more generally recognized. Five is the number chiefly associated with the pyramid form; which has five faces and five corners.

If you've never heard of the Five Books of Moses (not actually composed by Moses; people who believe in divine revelation see him as more secretary than author), you've heard of the Torah and the Pentateuch, the Hebrew and Greek names, respectively, for the first five books of the Hebrew Bible: Genesis, Exodus

And so returning the substance of the Pyramids of Egypt and their making:

A collaboration of radar satellite imagery, geophysical data and deep soil coring research has revealed that the pyramids of the Western desert in Egypt were built alongside a now extinct distributary of the Nile River named as the Ahramat Branch.

Many of the pyramids, dating to the Old and Middle Kingdoms, have causeways that lead to the original course of the Ahramat branch and terminate with Valley Temples; structures which appear to have served a dual role as both temples and strategically placed river harbours along the route followed by the ancient channel.

There is now a high probability that the Ahramat Branch played a significant role in the construction of the monuments built in this sector. In that, Ahramat was definitely an active waterway during the same timeframe as the inevitable major construction sites sprung up in order to develop the pyramids. Therefore, there is now considerable evidence to support the conclusion that the ancient river branch was used as the main method of transportation to carry workmen and building materials to specific locations.

Based on the interpretation of archaeological material and pollen records, an epoch known as the African Humid Period (AHP) which ran between 14,500 and 5000 years ago, represented the longest persistently wet period that occurred in the early to mid-Holocene era in the eastern Sahara region. The annual rainfall during this time ranged from 300 to 920 millimetres; falling mainly in the winter months. During this period, water levels in the Nile would have swollen to such an extent that several secondary channels branching across the floodplain emerged, similar to those described by early historians like Herodotus.

During the mid-Holocene (10,000 to 6000 years ago), freshwater marshes were commonplace across the Nile floodplain, causing settlement habitation patterns to be centred along the desert margins of the Nile Valley. These desert margin locations provided a refuge from the regularly high Nile water levels of the time. Then climate change ensued, coinciding with the end of the AHP and the beginning of the Late Holocene (5500 years ago to the present-day), where rainfall declined substantially, and the region’s humid phase gradually drew to a close, only occasionally punctuated by much shorter wet episodes.

As a result of this increasing aridity in the Sahara, large volumes of the desert-dwelling migrated towards the Nile Valley settling along the edge of the Nile floodplain. As precipitation rates fell, sedimentation increased in and around the Nile River distributary channels causing the height of the bordering floodplain to rise while adjacent marshland created when the Nile flood levels ranged from 1 to 4 metres above the AHP baseline, gradually decreased

The former Sahara inhabitants moved even further downhill into lower regions of the Nile Valley and settled in the elevated areas now occurring throughout the floodplain, which included the river’s natural levees along with jeziras or islands. This was the beginning of the Old Kingdom Period (circa 2686 BC) and the era when the early pyramid complexes, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, were constructed at the margins of the floodplain. During this time the Nile discharge was still considerably higher than its present level. The high flow of the river, particularly during the short-wet intervals, enabled the Nile to maintain multiple distributary branches, which meandered still across its floodplain.

Despite the landscape of the Nile floodplain being significantly transformed as a direct result of the construction of the Aswan High Dam in the 1960s, this region still retains a major quantity of hydro-geomorphological traces that clearly identify abandoned river channels.

Since the beginning of the Pharaonic era, the Nile River has played a pivotal role in the rapid growth and expansion of the Egyptian civilization. Serving as their lifeline in a largely arid landscape, the Nile provided sustenance and functioned as the main water corridor that allowed for the transportation of goods and building materials. For this reason, most of the key cities and monuments were in close proximity to the banks of the Nile and its peripheral branches. Over time, however, the main course of the River Nile migrated laterally, which resulted in many of these branches becoming silted up, leaving many ancient Egyptian sites high and dry at a great distances from the course followed by today’s river.

Even though the largest concentration of pyramids in Egypt are located along a narrow desert strip from south Lisht to Giza, no data-supported explanation had been offered as to why these pyramid fields were found in this particular area, until the mapping exercise depicted below had been completed. Logic indubitably dictates that monumental structures on this scale, such as pyramids and temples, would have to be built near major waterways in order to facilitate the transportation of the massive volumes of construction materials and huge workforce required to complete the project, but only recently has this logical explanation been anywhere near proven.
