Salutations my fellow star seeds, my fellow hues of man! On June 12th, 2022 (exactly 3 years ago today), I wrote a meditation for myself to recite while adventuring into the "Invisible Landscape," as Terrence McKenna would have described; that spectacular world of intense emotionality & splendid seeing of the normally unseen. It was at this time in which I frequently consulted with a 'Golden Teacher' whose reach into the depths of my ego was empowering & enlightening. I often refer back to these 4 poems/meditations I wrote following different visual journeys among the many trips I embarked on. "Maintain the Monument" was the 1st of the 4 that I wrote.
**Just a personal note/request** Please don't steal/copy my work >_<

Maintain the Monument
You are not…broken
You are strong…and you have chosen
To remain here…on Earth
Because you have purpose…you have worth
But we humans…easily fall
With shattered confidence…and torn down walls
That’s why we feel…as though we can break
Because no matter how small…it seems everything’s at stake
We live on each end…of the extremes
Always on the floor…or pressed against the ceiling
We rarely ever…just look at the room
Too high of expectations…leave us dreaming about the moon
But if we’re always standing…on our tippy toes
It’s a precarious position…one that foreshadows
An unfortunate mistake…that usually hurts
And like Icarus…we plummet back down to Earth
It’s not that you should never…fly close to the sun
Why shouldn’t you? …It’s freeing, beautiful, and fun.
But if we were to go skydiving…without knowing what to do
I would surely panic…and I think you would too.
As children, we were told…that it is okay to dream
But that’s before we knew…living isn’t as easy as it seemed
It’s not that dreaming is wrong
We just did all our dreaming…before we were strong.
And now that we are older.
Our heads are down…our hearts much colder
Chilled to the bone…and ready to shatter
But we’re still teeter-tottering…as if nothing really matters.
There is a lesson…to be learned
In order for this Fire…to properly burn
Those hefty logs…use those as your base
Fortify them…by giving yourself some grace.
Our foundations…are all too weak
We’ve allowed our perceptions…to grow very bleak
It’s a vicious cycle…we do to ourselves
You must be so tired…of living in this hell.
But if we were to plant our feet
Into the Earth…allowing our roots to grow deep
We’d be prepared for when…life tries to push us down
We are immovable but we are not bound
Watch as your roots...push into the dirt
Feel your entire body...connecting with Mother Earth
The wind may blow us…to and fro
But our roots...will never let us go
Create a solid base…around your core
And afterwards…allow the love to pour
Nourish your roots…so you can reach for the sun
Be patient love…for your life has just begun
Like a great monument…that you must maintain
You stand steadfast…so you can remain
On this place…that we call Earth
Because you have purpose…you have worth.
